What the site records
The site creates a random identifier in local storage and a separate session identifier in session storage. The analytics service stores only one-way keyed hashes of those identifiers. It records the page path and title, visit number, referring domain, UTM campaign fields, screen width, active reading time, outbound-link destination, and coarse country, region, or city when supplied by the hosting proxy.
What the site does not record
The analytics database does not store raw IP addresses, names, email addresses, cookies, full referring URLs, message contents, or browser user-agent strings. It is not used for advertising or personal profiling.
Use, retention, and providers
Private administrator-only analytics are used to understand readership and referrals. Records are automatically deleted after 400 days. Hosting and infrastructure providers process requests as needed to deliver and secure the site.
Your choice
You may clear local and session storage in your browser to reset browser-side identifiers. This does not automatically delete already stored records. Privacy requests concerning WhatIsENM.com may be sent to Info@redlanternwives.com.
